This version of the Tarpon Bunny is based on Dan Blanton's Sabalo Yucatan (A must have fishing in Mexico). I have become an avid convert to bunny tails on my Tarpon flies for the action they give the fly.
This fly is tied with an undulating rabbit strip tail, rubber legs on each side, Arctic fox collar, and EP Tarantula Brush that has rubber micro legs sticking out, this fly will have incredible movement in the water. My 40 years of tying tell me this will be a deadly combination on Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and many other species.
It is tied on a premium hook, Owner Aki, Gamakatzu SL12S, or Tiemco 811S depending on the size.
