To the best of my knowledge, this fly was originated by someone (guide?, lodge owner?) working the Mexican baby tarpon fishery in, you got it, San Flilipe. Two of my clients who have been fishing there for a couple of years already knew about this fly. I would bet my reputation that it will work really well on Redfish and Seatrout here.
