To the best of my knowledge this fly was created by Harris Dudley, a guide formerly in Charleston, SC but now working at the fly shop in Houston, Gordy & Sons. He started guiding in Louisiana last year. A very good client has me tie them to use there with fantastic results.
The eye is a Spirit River Real Eye plus.
The premium hook will be either a Gamakatsu SL12S or B10S Stinger, Tiemco 811S, or an Owner Aki. If you have a preference please add a note in the comment section.
