I read an article in which Nick Granato was called the Mad Scientist of fly designers. I can't confirm that, but I do know his flies flat out catch fish. I believe he mainly designs for freshwater species but his designs work just as well in the salt. I have clients using them with great success for big Redfish in Louisiana.
