The "Flat Nose" Andino was developed to push more water than the original and move the weight of the eyes forward a bit. I have a very good client who really believes this eye placement works better than the original. Generally Speaking, hackle tails provide better movement in the water, but lack durability. Synthetic tails provide durability, and even work better under certain conditions, so it is always a good idea to have some with you.
