This is a pattern developed by Tom Shadley of Southwest Florida. He tied it for Snook, but it is equally effective on baby Tarpon. It is on the fly list of some of the lodges in the Yucatan. A good client had me tie some for him to take to Punta Allen, Yucatan in late 2024 and it flat tore up the Snook and Baby Tarpon.
It is tied using a number of different flash materials, hence the name Lightbulb.
